Hi I have been producing Electronic Music for 5 years now collaborated with other producers been in the media business producing mucic and videos for 25 years previous now I want to create/ produce more electronic music and collaborate with other like minded producers .
Hi mate! Welcome, and thanks for joining up and introducing yourself. It sounds like you’ve got some experience under your belt. Hopefully, you will find someone on here to collaborate with. Check out this post.
BTR. Blacktop Rodge.A.K.A. Roger Lee Havens. Vocalist/producer, engineer, and composer. I write some lyrics but it isn’t my strong suit. I mostly arrange mix loops to create something newer. Working also on collaborations with former band mates.
Hi. Arttu from Finland. I make music under the name aR2u. I have a classical background, started playing the cello at 5. Then I fell in love with rock and metal music as a pre-teen and started writing my own songs. I’ve released one album in 2014 but I suffered a major health crisis which lead to my whole world falling apart and my promising career belly flopped. About two years ago, I applied and received a tiny grant in order to be able to put together my own home studio and since then I’ve released three singles independently. So far I’ve been doing and learning without a specific plan because my health is what it is but this year I decided to take a step forward in order to have something to work on consistently and challenge myself. So I decided to make an album. I started generating ideas two weeks ago and I’ve set deadlines. What it comes to the genre or style of my music, I am trying to figure out a way to combine elements of progressive rock and metal and electronic music with organic singer-songwriter style. But for now, I have a simple template to generate those ideas with and focus on that. Whenever I stumble upon a good article, or YouTube-video or whatever, I collect it and take what’s valuable and apply it when a chance presents itself. I am always open for chatting and collaborating but for now this album is my priority nr.1. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!
@BTR

Hi everyone. I am essentially an amateur DJ, learning the craft as time permits. I have dabbled in music production using Ableton. In my “studio” I have denon dj equipment, Virtual DJ, Ableton Push 2, midi Keyboard, and recently Akai Force which I am attempting to learn
Good to be here, and looking forward to learning, and contributing where I can
Hey man, welcome aboard. Good to have you here!
I reckon along with producing, they’ll be plenty of DJ talk as well. In fact, I’ll probably set up a section for DJ-related topics.

Hi all my names jordan… i was taught dj-ing by my uncle from around age 6 starting with vinyl (im now 31)… had to take a massive break from it due to equiptment failure and at the same time lost my job and multiple events that follwed lasting for a good few years. 10 years down the line (starting 2 years ago) i finally got back into mixing using a cheap and cheerful controller and im absolutely loving it again now having built my own cost effective mini studio and as of around 2 weeks ago, ive finally started learning to produce my own music using fl studio.
My favourite genres of music are uk bounce, hard house and hardcore (most sub genres). I also really like trance, techno, tech house, garage and a few other house type sub genres (a fair few to get through )
Any way just thought i would pop in and say hi
Thanks for the intro. If you learned to mix on vinyl, you can mix on anything!
Hello Matt and Home Music Makers. I am supporting a home karaoke-based singer (she’s very good, actually). With an eye to making an impact she is in the process of finding all of the tunes she can sing, and sing well, before we go public. She has amassed over 200 songs so far which complement her voice, and which are interesting to the public, because they are 90’s and 00’s vintage.
Hi Matt thanks for having me,I’m new to
Using daws, But don’t know where to start,Play Key’s and like to mess about
With Different Sounds ,any ideas would be greatful !!!
Hey @H377TracK3r60 Welcome to the forum. Just messing around is a good way to start! Do you already have a DAW?
